Sarah Ogilvie

Sarah Ogilvie is studying “the language of the iGeneration” to discover how those born after 1995 express technology’s impact on their lives at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University where she is also a Linguistics and Social Sciences Research Fellow. Formerly a software developer at Amazon, she received her DPhil from Oxford University and is Senior Research Fellow in Linguistics at the University of Oxford. Her recent publications include GenZ, Explained (Chicago University Press, 2021), the Cambridge Companion to English Dictionaries (Cambridge University Press, 2020), and The Whole World in a Book (Oxford University Press, 2020).
