Theo Detweiler is the Editorial and Research Assistant for Future Humans at the Berggruen Institute. His research background spans the history and philosophy of science, animal studies, and environmental law. He supports Future Humans' writing and research projects on the history and future of life, technology, and consciousness. Born and raised in Los Angeles, he holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and a BA from Williams College.
